Day 1: Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Cave Camp (2,850m)

A brutal, steep ascent through dense forest.

Day 2: Umbwe Cave to Barranco Camp (3,950m)


Trek continues up narrow ridges to dramatic Barranco Valley.

Day 3: Barranco Wall to Karanga Camp (4,050m)

Scramble up the iconic Barranco Wall, traverse ridges to Karanga.

Day 4: Karanga to Barafu Camp (4,680m)


Reach Barafu Base Camp for summit preparations.

Day 5: Summit Day! Barafu to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp


The hardest night  an exhilarating, rewarding climb to the top of Africa.

Day 6: Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate → Lodge Transfer

Final joyful descent to civilization.
